Radhanath, Friend or Foe?

With the latest in cell phone technology, Radhanatha's groupies still are "totally lost". Interesting to note, the verse quoted here about the "guru" as captain of the ship is the same one Radhanatha quoted about Kirtanananda Swami on his last Mumbai vyasapuja that Radhanatha attended. This was in those years when Kirtanananda Swami was the "most recent link in the unbroken chain of pure devotees coming from Lord KRSNA, up to the present day".

Now the conclusion of this article tells us, Radhanatha is "the one" filling this unique position.

The same individuals who were fooled so completely by Kirtanananda Swami for all those years have now taken the same mood with Radhanatha as they had with Kirtanananda. In some cases, they even use the same vyasapuja offerings, they simply change the names. How trite.

Not wanting to waste even one minute of this 'pure devotee's association," his confused and bewildered followers are headed for the same dark regions that their "guru maharaj" himself is headed for. We have an obligation to try and enlighten these individuals before they fall in the same pit of illusion that the "Radhanatha disciples" of the past have fallen into, being one of those aware of the folly of such pursuits.

Just as Kirtanananda Swami told everyone "accept whatever KRSNA gives you", Radhanatha's followers have adopted the same "rules change" that now requires us to "pray to KRSNA" on behalf of guru, that his material situation does not continue to degrade. This double standard of "appealing to KRSNA" when the financial or legal fortunes take the inevitable "turn for the worse" has to pose the same philosophical dilemma for the Radhanatha disciples as it did for the Kirtanananda Swami disciples when New Vrindaban was co-opted by Radhanatha and Kuladri, in the wake of Kirtanananda Swami's ouster.

We wish them only the best in their struggle to remain KRSNA conscious when they realize that the "infallible jagat guru" isn't.
